Trained as a lawyer in international public law, Jérôme Heitz specializes in project and team management in the field of international technical cooperation. He has over 20 years' professional experience in the fields of security and development, international economic and development law, risk prevention and reduction, stabilization of fragile states or states in crisis, and security sector reform. Over the course of his career, he has worked for a number of international organizations, including the International Labour Office (ILO), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), France Expertise Internationale (FEI) and Expertise France, both at headquarters and in the field, notably in West Africa and Madagascar.
