Florence Lozach
Graduating from the École Supérieure de Journalisme de Lille (ESJ) in 2004, Florence won the Prix Varenne for young journalists. After working as a photojournalist for TF1's Paris newsroom and Rome bureau between 2004 and 2005, Florence became a correspondent for Europe 1. In 2008, Florence became a correspondent in Afghanistan for various media: France 2, BFM TV, RFI, Europe 1, M6, RTBF, France 24, and in 2010 won the Bayeux Prize for war correspondents. From 2012 to 2016, she covered various conflict zones: Kabul, Operation Serval in Mali, Kenya, Egypt, Central African Republic, Ukraine, Niger, Chad, Gaza, Israel, Philippines, Turkey, Jordan, Guinea. In 2017, she became a reporter and editor-in-chief of three night news programmes for TV5 Monde. Since leaving France at the end of 2018, Florence continues to collaborate regularly with TV5 Monde Paris.
