Enrico Letta
Since 2015, Enrico Letta is Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po Paris, and was appointed President of APSIA (Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs) in June 2019. Enrico Letta has also been President of the Institut Jacques Delors since 2016. He was Minister for Community Policies from 1998 to 1999, then Minister for Industry, Trade and Crafts from January to April 2000. He was Minister for Industry and Foreign Trade from 2000 to 2001, then Under-Secretary of State in Romano Prodi's Council Presidency from 2006 to 2008. From 2001 to 2015, Enrico Letta was elected to the Chamber of Deputies, with the exception of the period 2004-2006, when he was a Member of the European Parliament. He was also Deputy Secretary of the Democratic Party from 2009 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, he was President of the Italian Council. Enrico Letta holds a degree in International Law from the University of Pisa (his home town) and a doctorate in European Community Law from the Scuola Superiore S. Anna in Pisa.
